The Process (Consult → Fittings → Collection)
A clear overview of what happens, so you can plan your time and decide with confidence.

Section A. Process Overview
This page explains the ZoZo Tailors process—consultation, fittings, and collection—so you can plan your time and know what to expect.
Fiona (couture-trained founder and studio owner) works with you directly from consultation to final fitting. The typical timeline below reflects a common short-stay schedule; if you’re staying longer, Fiona adapts the timing to you.
Typical timing: After you approve the quote and place your deposit, Fiona typically completes garments within 24–48 hours, including fittings and refinements, depending on the garment and your schedule. Most clients find one or two fittings is enough, others need one or two more fittings to refine comfort and movement, and we always provide fittings as many as needed to ensure a quality result.
Your 3 Steps to Tailored Garments with a Couture-Level Fit

1. Consult
– Discuss your ideas, explore options, and get an obligation-free measure and customised-quote

2. Fit
– To ensure a perfect fit for your garments, attend fitting sessions with couture-trained Fiona (founder of ZoZo Tailors)

3. Finish
– Receive your perfectly tailored garments from Fiona, personally —
typically 24-48 hours from quote acceptance
Indicative Timeline
This is a typical example for Hoi An's short-stay visitors. The exact timing will depend on your preferences and schedule.

Section B. Process Details by Step

- Share ideas (or begin with a conversation and a few options)
- Review fabric and finishing options
- Get measured
- See how fabric and finishing choices affect the quote in real time

- Adjust fit and finishing details as needed
- Fittings can be at the studio or (by arrangement) at your Hoi An accommodation
- One or two fittings is usual (more if needed)
Step 3 — Collection
- Final fit check and finishing review
- Confirm comfort, movement, and details
- Collect your garments, ready to wear
Section C. FAQs
1. How long does a consultation take?
Most consultations take around 45 minutes (sometimes a little shorter or longer), depending on how many garments you’re considering and how quickly decisions feel clear.
6. Do I need to know what I want before my consultation?
No. You can arrive with a clear idea, a few references, or simply a sense of what you want the garment to do for you. Fiona begins with a conversation, then collaborates with you on design, fabric, and finishing choices—drawing on her experience fitting many different people—so the result suits your body, your movement, and your lifestyle. Many clients find they leave with options they hadn’t considered, but that feel surprisingly “right” once they try them on.
For example, some clients discover they love a softer, more flowing silhouette once they feel it in movement—even if they’ve always chosen more structured pieces. Either way, Fiona collaborates with you to arrive at garments that feel right to wear and reflect your style.
3. What should I bring to the consultation?
Bring any of these (or none): a photo for inspiration, a favourite garment to reference, or an open mind. Many clients simply start with a conversation and explore options in the studio.
4. Can I decide after I see the quote?
Yes. After the consultation, you receive a clear quote and suggested timeline. You decide whether to proceed—no pressure.
5. How many fittings are normal?
One or two fittings is usual. Fiona trained at Hoi An’s top atelier for 11 years before opening her own studio, and she uses that expertise to get very close to the final fit early. Extra fittings are sometimes part of refinement—they help Fiona tune comfort and movement so the garment feels right on you. Fiona will keep refining the fit within your agreed schedule; unlimited fittings are guaranteed.
6. How fast is the process if I’m on a short or longer stay?
It depends on your garment and schedule. Fiona shapes the timing around your availability so the process feels prompt, but not rushed. If you’re on a short stay, mention your timing when you book so Fiona can suggest the best plan.
7. How can I pay if I decide to proceed?
Fiona can take payment easily using a portable card reader, or you can pay cash in VND.
8. Do fittings have to be at the studio?
Not always. Fiona can coordinate fittings at the studio or, when helpful, at your Hoi An accommodation by arrangement.
9. Can you keep my measurements for future orders?
Yes—if you’d like, Fiona can keep your measurements on file (recorded manually) so you can reorder later, even from overseas.
